Currently attending Georgia State University as a Music Education major, Noa is a well versed instrumentalist, music writer, songwriter and seasoned vocalist. She is pursuing her certification to teach music to grades K-12 using basic instruments such as the guitar and piano. Noa spends most of her days on music. She comes from a family of musicians. Her mother is also a songwriter, along with her 3 siblings. Noa is very family oriented and works alongside them in her creation process. Her Older sister is also an artist/songwriter/producer. She has 2 younger sisters involved with music. One is a visual artist studying video gaming design, and the other plays piano with dreams of following in Noa's footsteps. If she's not in school learning music, she is usually working in the studio with her producer, Blu, who is also her father. Blu has played a major role in Noa's artistry development, as she has been dropping music since a teenager. These days, Noa enjoys listening to artists such as Keisha Cole, Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, HER, Kehlani, Summer Walker, and more! Be expecting a wide range of sounds coming from her catalog in the near future. Her music can become a genre of its own.
Noa’s story is unique and one that has survived a lot of adversity. As we all know, you cannot form a diamond without a little pressure. She didn’t let the trials break her, it just added more fuel to her fire. Life is the best teaching experience, so she maintains a level of gratitude that allows her to see the beauty in all aspects of her life; good and bad. This is one of many reasons her music is so inspiring and relatable. The adversities she had to face at a young age equipped her to be able to lead by example both on and off the stage. As a teenager, Noa witnessed her father being shot 3 times and survive. She is no stranger to trauma and finding healthy ways to process it. This gives her a therapeutic advantage to make a positive impact on others through her music. As a child, she was often outcasted because of her African-American features such as her curly afro, which is her natural hair and one of her signature hairstyles. It is an ultimate display of the love she has for herself, in hopes she can inspire others to do the same no matter what!
